This lemonade has a vintage style and it tastes delicious.
- 5 Lemons
- 1 1/4 quarts Water
- 1 1/4 cups White Sugar
Peel the rinds and cut them into 1/2 inch slices. Set the lemons aside.
Place the rinds in a bowl and sprinkle the sugar over them. Let this sit for 1 hour.
Bring the water to a boil, then pour the water over the sugared lemon rinds. Allow this to cool for about 20 minutes. Remove the rinds
Squeeze the lemons into another bowl. Pout the juice through a strainer into the sugar mix. Stir, pour into pitcher and cool.
