Blueberry Dutch Babies with Buttermilk Syrup

Yummy, fresh dutch babies with delicious syrup

Ingredients
  

Dutch Babies

  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Blueberries

Buttermilk Syrup

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
 

Dutch Babies

  • Preheat oven to 425 F
  • Place butter in 9 x 13 pan
  • Put pan in oven to melt butter
  • Put eggs in blender on high for 1 minute
  • Gradually pour in milk then flour. Blend for another 30 seconds
  • Remove pan from oven and pour batter in.
  • Return pan to oven. Bake about 20-25 minutes
  • Serve with buttermilk syrup

Buttermilk Syrup

  • In a large saucepan melt butter, sugar, and buttermilk. Bring to a boil
  • Reduce to simmer and simmer for 7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and pour in vanilla and baking soda
