Blueberry Dutch Babies with Buttermilk Syrup
Yummy, fresh dutch babies with delicious syrup
Dutch Babies
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Blueberries
Buttermilk Syrup
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
Dutch Babies
Preheat oven to 425 F
Place butter in 9 x 13 pan
Put pan in oven to melt butter
Put eggs in blender on high for 1 minute
Gradually pour in milk then flour. Blend for another 30 seconds
Remove pan from oven and pour batter in.
Return pan to oven. Bake about 20-25 minutes
Serve with buttermilk syrup
Buttermilk Syrup
In a large saucepan melt butter, sugar, and buttermilk. Bring to a boil
Reduce to simmer and simmer for 7 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour in vanilla and baking soda
