Vic’s First Peach Cobbler (And Why It’s Epic)

Easy Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
  

For the FIlling:

  • 5 peaches peeled, cored, sliced (about 4 cups / 600–700g)
  • ¾ cup sugar 150g
  • ¼ tsp salt

Batter:

  • 6 Tbsp butter 85g
  • 1 cup flour 120g
  • 1 cup sugar 200g
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup milk 180ml
  • Ground cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
  • Toss peaches with sugar + salt. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl: mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
  • Pour batter over melted butter (don’t stir!).
  • Spoon peaches + juices on top.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake 40–45 min until golden and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream.
