I wish that decorating my mantel wasn’t such a struggle, but it is at times. My solution is consistency. So this is How to Style Beautiful Velvet Pumpkins on a Fall Farmhouse Mantel, with velvet pumpkins being the focal point.
How to Style Beautiful Velvet Pumpkins on a Fall Farmhouse Mantel
This mantel is quite large so I used two faux garlands as the base. The large round mirror breaks up the sharp lines of the beams and wood mantel. I then needed to balance the mirror so I used these vintage French candelabras, which set the stage for a romantic theme. I threw in this French urn with some Fall feathers just to add one more element. It breaks up the sameness that is going on here.
One of the tricks to setting these velvet pumpkins, is to get height to some of them. I use small round Tupperware containers hidden in the greenery. I then placed a few pumpkins on them. Now ones eye can see more details than if some of the pumpkins were hidden.
I love how some of the pumpkins have crystals, they have bit more of a glamorous look yet it’s not too much. I added my collection from last year with this years pumpkin collection!
