How to make Peanut butter brownies
This recipe is made from simple ingredients that most people already have in their home. No need to run to the grocery store for ingredients that you will only use once in a blue moon. I love serving these special peanut butter brownies at any gathering. They are also a family favorite for an after dinner dessert. Get in the baking mood, grab your apron and create something mouth-wateringly delicious.
Peanut Butter Brownies
- 1/2 Cup Softened butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1/3 Cup Baking Cocoa
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/ Cup Chocolate Chips
Peanut Butter Layer
- 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- Beat Butter and sugar together
- Beat in egg, water, and vanilla
- Add four, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Make sure you mix it well.
- Stir in Chocolate Chips
- Spread in a 9×13 pan. Be sure to spray pan with cooking spray
- Bake at 350 degrees for 22 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE
- Let sit for an hour or so before adding the peanut butter layer
Peanut Butter Layer
- Melt Butter
- Add Peanut butter and sugar and let heat for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth
- Spread over cooled brownies
- Melt chocolate and butter together in microwave. Stir every 15 seconds.
In the peanut butter brownie recipe it already gives you the ingredients for a chocolate drizzle. If you are more of a peanut butter person you can also warm up peanut butter and drizzle it on top. You can combine both chocolate and peanut butter together as a mixed drizzle or choose just one. Another good idea is, if you are serving this desert in the comfort of your own home, you can have both chocolate and peanut butter drizzle in separate serving dishes and let people choose their own topping.
