Sometimes you need to spruce up your mantel and there is no better time than spring. We just recently created a spring tablescape perfect for those holiday events coming up. Plus I share my new favorite plates.
When updating for the season I wanted a light and airy look to brighten the space. I used a lot of our new inventory which I will share affiliate links below. If I were you I would grab most of your favorite home decor pieces and then you can mess around with all of them when decorating your mantel. Take a look at how we added a rag wreath to this mantel.
To start I chose some wall decor. For this look I went with our small bright white frame and a straw hat. As you can tell I went for earthy natural colors for this look. Whites, greens, and tans.
To add that coziness to your home the wood naturals really bring that out. We added our brick mold sort of as a riser which fit perfectly on this mantel. Then we added our vintage wood candle holders. They are sold as a set of 6 but that doesn’t mean you always fave to use all of them. We didn’t want this mantel to go too overboard. If you want a hygge style to your home take a look.
A tip not to have everything be the same height. You want that variety in height. Another thing to think about is texture. It really makes a space pop when there is texture added. For example we have these course painted terra cotta pots, which we have a diy on them. The vintage wood of these candles and brick molds gives a textured look with the antique woods chips and such.
