I even layer rugs in my room, my house is over 100 years old now so our bedrooms get real cold at night which means it’s nice it snuggle. Get yourself some thick curtains to for the cold weather. I never knew how much they could do until I moved into this old house!

I is a lot of work to repaint the walls for the season so do keep that in mind if you were wanting to repaint for the fall.
