Soap Gift Wrapping Ideas
Something about adding your own special touch to a gift just makes it that much better! You can of course add your own homemade soap, but I was in a hurry and added my favorite organic soaps. For this diy, I just bought the bottles and labels together with a kit from Amazon.
Supplies:
- Bottles
- Soap (homemade or organic)
- Labels
- Funnel
Women’s Gift Guide
Another great way to make labels, if you want to make them more custom is to use the Cricut Machine! That thing can do just about anything. Soap making kits are a great women’s gift, I love to make a few of these and just save them for when a gift is needed. If she’s not into soaps I have a great women’s gift guide for just about anything!
Handmade Gifts DIY
Now for those of you that want to make your own liquid soap, I found this great recipe here. Ok now for the actual making of these cute soap bottles. I started by sticking the labels on. They don’t need to be perfectly straight, I tried and it worked out pretty well. If there are little air bubbles I just tried rubbing them out with my finger. Or a credit card works great too.
Amber Soap Bottle
Time for the funnel. I get my smaller funnel and place it in the top of the bottle. Now I pour in my soap, don’t fill all the way to the top. Because if it is too full and you stick the nozzle in, it can overflow. And that is it to this fun little diy gift giving project!
